Anger Management

Anger is a human emotion which is generally expressed by everyone. When this anger blows outta proportionate and it offends oneself or others, one should learn to manage Anger. Anger is not only an expression when blown outta proportionate it turns out to be a serious social and a health hassle. In terms of social hassle nobody would like to be associated with an irate person which may affect a person’s social life as he may be lonely.

Health hassles

When anger goes beyond control, the person is likely to have the following health related issues:

  • Blood Pressure
  • Cardiac issues
  • Headaches
  • Brain related problems
  • Nervous system breakdown

All these are highly dangerous conditions which can be prevented by simple anger management. One should not have a cardio-problem or a cardio arrest purely because of his anger. Anger should be managed wisely.

Anger Management

For managing Anger, one can adopt the following steps:

  • Listening to calm music.
  • Spending quality time with Family and Friends.
  • Involving in fun loving activities.
  • Counting number especially from ten to one.
  • Try relaxing in a silent environment.
  • Not to speak with anyone while angry.
  • Breathing exercises (Pragnayam duly instructed by a Teacher)

Shouting or yelling at a person does not resolve any problems. The person is not only harming himself but also offending others. When one is angry, to get over his Anger one can count from 1 to 10 (or 10 to 1) which may deviate his mind. To control Anger on a long term basis one should adopt to do their activities which they love the most. One must observe silence when they are irate. The person should try to overcome the situations by effective thinking instead of expressing anger.

In a longer run, to lead a healthy life anger management is a must. One should adopt all possible ways to hold this temper which would help his tempo.
